Service — Sonarr

What it is

Sonarr is a TV show management tool. It monitors RSS feeds and indexers for new episodes, downloads them via a torrent client, and organizes them into the media library that Jellyfin serves. It is the TV counterpart to Radarr.

Location

  • URL: http://localhost:8989
  • Container: sonarr
  • Config: ~/data/admin/sonarr/
  • Media path: ~/data/media/tv/

API

Sonarr has a REST API (v3).

  • Base URL: http://localhost:8989/api/v3/
  • Auth: API key (Sonarr → Settings → General)
  • Key endpoints: GET /series, POST /series, GET /episode?seriesId={id}, GET /queue, POST /command

Quorra integration

Planned. When built, Quorra will take natural-language TV requests (“download Parks and Recreation season 4”), handle season/episode clarification, add the series, and report queue status and ETA — with completion notifications delivered to Matrix via an inbound webhook. Status queries will be Tier 0; adding to the download queue will be Tier 1.

This integration is not yet built in the current QuorraAPI; it is part of milestone M4. See Quorra’s service integrations reference.
